| ABOUT CMPI |
 |
OUR START
In 1996, the Austin Independent School District convened representatives of Austin area contractor associations, chambers of commerce and other business organizations to assist in developing strategies to enhance participation by local, small and minority businesses in the district’s bond construction program. This became the catalyst for the creation of CMPI.
CMPI is a volunteer program that seeks to help small, local and historically underutilized businesses grow, develop and achieve success by pairing them with successful and established firms for a period of close association and collaboration.
CMPI MISSION STATEMENT
